Moorview Rescue and COVID-19
In these unprecedented times we are still actively rescuing and rehoming dogs where possible, albeit behind closed doors.
The rescue is currently not open for visitors, but we still need your help.
Everyone is struggling through these difficult times but we need your donations more than ever. If you can help at all please visit our fundraising page to see the different ways in which you can donate.
Keeping Moorview covid secure
Fortunately, there is very little evidence that COVID-19 can be transmitted via animals, and we have the benefit of being set deep within the countryside. However, there are still a number of steps we have taken to ensure we are Covid secure;
Hand sanitiser is available throughout the rescue and staff and volunteers are advised to wash their hands as frequently as possible.
Masks are being worn in all indoor spaces or where we must work together at a distance of less than 2m.
The rescue is closed to visitors but all staff and volunteers are urged to remain at home if they are displaying any of the three main symptoms of coronavirus (persistent cough - fever/high temperate - loss of, or change in, taste or sense of smell).
If you are looking to re-home a dog from us we can ensure that your visit is completed in a Covid secure way, with as little contact as possible.
