8 year old Border Collie, Lulu, may have just become the world’s richest dog after inheriting $5,000,000 (£3,594,375) in her owner’s will.
This story comes from Nashville, Tennessee and tells the ‘tail’ of how Lulu’s owner, a successful and single businessman, wanted to make sure his four-legged friend was looked after long after he was gone.
Talking to ‘NewsChannel5’ in the USA, a friend (Martha Burton) of Lulu’s former owner said,
“I don't really know what to think about it to tell you the truth. He just really loved the dog,"
"Oh yes. He loved that dog,".
The will states that Lulu now belongs to Mrs Burton and that she can use the funds left by her previous owner, Bill Dorris, to claim back any reasonable expenses.
So, with her new found wealth, what could Lulu buy? Well, with her new found millions Lulu can now afford;
83,609 15kg bags of dog food
42,536,982 individual Shmackos sticks
13,436,916 large Pedigree dentastix!
