lOTTIE

Breed: Staffy Cross Sex: Female

Lottie is a remarkable dog who has spent too long in kennels awaiting her forever home. She is with a foster family at the moment where she is showing herself to be a very lovely lady. She is a medium sized cross breed (Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Shar-pei) who is approximately 7 years old.

Lottie is super affectionate and likes nothing more than snuggling next to you and even holding hands/paws when she can. She does have a playful side and loves her toys although they have to be pretty heavy duty to last more than a few minutes! She likes to play tug and fetch and generally have a good old chew of her toys (she has never touched anything she shouldn’t).

Lottie is good with people and has happily embraced all the comings and goings of people over Christmas, making lots of new friends. Her waggy tail has been a lovely sight and all who have met her have been won over.

On walks Lottie is happy to have a wander and a sniff and she also likes to chase and carry a ball or stick. Her recall is generally good and she wants to engage and play. Her favourite is chasing a ball over the fields. Lottie in full flight is a sight to behold and she is quick to return.

Lottie is nervous around other dogs and can be dog reactive (barking) but she has been working hard on this and has already made good progress. We are confident that her ongoing training will overcome this.  Please don’t let this put you off Lottie as she would be the perfect dog for an experienced family.

Lottie is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and in good health.
